A WARM WELCOME FROM THE TITHE BARN TRUSTEES

THE POPPLETON TRUSTEES

Stewards of heritage and community

The Trustees of Poppleton Tithe Barn are a dedicated group of volunteers who take on the important responsibility of safeguarding and managing this historic building for the benefit of the community. Acting on behalf of the charity (No. 1060767), they ensure that the Barn is well maintained, financially sustainable, and used in ways that reflect its heritage and charitable aims.

Their work involves overseeing the day-to-day running of the Barn, managing bookings for community and private events, coordinating fundraising activities, and supporting essential repairs and conservation projects. Just as importantly, they help preserve the welcoming and inclusive spirit that makes the Tithe Barn a true centre of village life.

Working closely with the Friends of the Tithe Barn and local volunteers, the Trustees combine practical care with long-term vision — ensuring that this remarkable building remains a living part of Poppleton’s history and continues to serve its community for generations to come.
