Come and join us at Poppleton Tithe Barn and find out the amazing support Hearing Dogs give to their deaf partners. The events starts at 1:45pm with a charity dog walk along Poppleton Ings. Everyone is welcome, with or without a dog. The walk takes about 45 minutes, and the first 50 will receive a doggy bag of goodies.
There is a suggested donation of £10 for adults, with dogs and children free.
Following the walk, at the Tithe Barn, from 2-4pm, we would love you to join us for a cuppa and homemade cakes, and meet the fabulous Hearing Dogs in training.
There will be a chance to chat to volunteers, and meet deaf partnerships, and find out more about volunteering opportunities.
At 3:30pm there will be a Hearing Dog demonstration, showcasing the dogs in action.
We need volunteers throughout York and surrounding area, could you volunteer?
